What we do

Wise Growth’s main purpose is to act as a research and knowledge diffusion center for managerial praxis. Our work comes out of academic research, yet our methods are firmly anchored in concrete practicability.
We design activities for individual and organizational growth, with careful consideration of the company’s history, current values and settings, as well as strategic and short-term objectives.
Working in partnership with our clients, we transfer not only the contents, but also the methodologies that characterize each of our activities.
Our areas of specialization include the following:

Plurality Management
The complexities of today’s globalized world have found their way into organizations, making diversity management a top priority.
But this critical issue can produce paradoxical effects if it is approached the wrong way. Inaccurate intervention can, for instance, increase confusion rather than promote harmony, inclusion and active cohabitation.
So it’s important to build projects, utilizing a coherent and shared management, which can operate on different levels of the organizational structure: from strategic choices, to methods of people management, to aspects of individual behavior.

Wise Growth prides itself on a solid theoretical background and consultation experience. We apply our knowledge to individual organizations, and build tailor-made projects for diversity management that address the specific needs and realities of our clients.

Cross Cultural Management and Relations with China
An important aspect of individual diversity deals with cultural belonging, personal roots and the heritage of business knowledge.
The ability to develop effective communications that crosses cultural barriers is an objective that each organization must confront.
Wise Growth offers programs in training, training support for intercultural tutors, as well as personal growth activities designed for expatriates.
Particularly significant is the knowledge that we have accumulated in our studies on China. Through research from both a cultural and business standpoint, our knowledge allows us to develop individual programs for Italian companies that operate in China, as well as Chinese companies that intend to enter the Italian market.
In partnership with the law firm Konosko in Shanghai, we offer a panorama of legal and consultation services.

Programs for women
Gender differences can be approached from many angles within the context of the organization, from building real equal opportunity for gaining access to important positions, to supporting women in their career and personal development paths, to achieving better integration within the team.
Wise Growth offers courses for men and women designed to achieve various goals:

-- support for female career paths, addressing specific related issues
-- develop mentoring projects for groups and individuals
For top managers we offer shadowing courses (via one or more days spent together), to outline paths of individual development.

Mentoring
Offering support to individuals in their professional careers is a role that can be assigned to in-company mentors, whose aim is to transmit the specific culture of the organization, build a continuous course of learning, and maximize the individual’s potential.
Wise Growth’s mentoring projects begin by training and supervising mentors in order to develop a temporal course that is ultimately used for achieving the objectives shared by our clients.

Personal Development
The skills required for confronting the world of work include knowledge, abilities and behaviors that can effectively take on complex situations within the organization. In the process of developing these strengths and adapting to the organization, individuals must consider their own aptitudes so as not to betray personal tendencies and goals for success that more and more sophisticated and involved ways of working can sustain.
The path of development designed by Wise Growth helps individuals identify their own ideal horizons, focuses on courses of practical action and identifies those strengths that need to be reinforced.
During a series of one-to-one meetings, whose number and frequency are to be determined with our clients, we will outline a general itinerary that will include the following steps: identification of critical areas, analysis of the organization, comparison with the ideal self, and support in the development of organizational behavioral skills that are deemed necessary.
This program may be requested by companies, taking into consideration existing evaluations of potentials and performances, or by individuals who find themselves at particularly significant moments in their careers.

Support for the Placement of Individuals with Different Abilities
The inclusion of people with varying abilities may be a mere act of compliance with the law, or an opportunity to build a path of inclusion that provides an assessment of skills, identification of appropriate organizational positions and development of a culture of inclusion within the company.
Wise Growth, in collaboration with the Associazione Nazionale Mutilati Invalidi del Lavoro, can assist in the paths of employment selection and placement, and provide appropriate learning activities.

Sapiente-mente: Corporate and Individual Development: New Equilibriums
A moment of reflection organized in collaboration with the Abbey of Montserrat, in Barcelona.
The corporate complexities and current climate of crisis facing today's managers create a need to locate new equilibriums between valued economic dimensions and people’s well-being; between personal potentials and the needs of the company; and between individual and group interests.
One often acts on impulse when presented with such dilemmas in the day-to-day life of the organization, with no time to place the organization and themselves at the center of a broader debate.
In collaboration with the Monastery of Montserrat, Wise Growth offers a program that provides a space for reflection, and for rediscovering the meaning of one’s own actions through the help of biblical wisdom and Benedictine inspiration. This 3-day training program takes place at the Monastery of Montserrat near Barcelona.
