Maria cristina Bombelli

After receiving her graduate degree in philosophy, she began focusing on human resources management and adult training within the context of organizational structure and behavior, with a particular regard to the question of gender differences.
She is a professor at the Universita’ di Milano Bicocca and, for many years, has lectured at the Scuola di Direzione Aziendale at Universita’ Bocconi. Here, she founded the Laboratorio Armonia research center for diversity management studies, which is sponsored by a network of firms. (www.sdabocconi.it/armonia).
She was visiting scholar at the University of La Verne, California, and is the author of numerous articles on organizational behavior and diversity management.

Jungian trained Psychotherapist.
After an extensive period as partner, researcher, consultant with the firm Valdani, Vicari and Associates, her experience in the areas of strategy, marketing and organization has led to a specialization in organizational behavior and individual developmental training. Under this framework, she has developed intricate projects on mentoring and diversity management, with a particular focus on the relationship between individual well-being and organizational growth.
She is the author of numerous articles and conference papers in the areas of psychology, marketing and organization.
She holds a degree in modern literature with a specialization in linguistics and semiotics from the Università degli Studi di Pavia, followed by a four-year specialization in psychoanalytic therapy.

Barbara Quacquarelli

She holds a doctorate degree in Organizational Theory and Development and is currently a research fellow in Corporate Organization and lecturer on Cross Cultural Management, Change Management and other topics at the Universita’ di Milano Bicocca.
A native of Puglia who, for many years, has divided her time between Italy and Holland, she has developed a profound interest in, and sharp understanding of, international organizational behavior.
She is co-founder and vice-director of the Bicocca Training & Development Lab, a university research center sponsored by thirty of the top multinational organizations present in Italy.

She has published numerous books on the processes of learning via new media, including: La formazione, il cemento e la rete (EtasLibri) and Oltre l´aula (Apogeo). Together with Cristina Bombelli, she was editor of the Italian edition of Organizational Behavior, Kreitner and Kinicki.
Her current research interests include post merger-and-acquisition integration management, and organizational learning. She is editor of the first Italian managerial journal “Sviluppo & Organization”.
She is on the faculty of three Italian business schools and is an active consultant and trainer.

Edgar Klein Obbink

Born and raised in Holland, with a degree in Italian language and literature, he began his professional career in Italy, where he has lived happily ever since.
After extensive, hands-on finance training with Medtronic Italia (electromedical), he joined Kodak S.p.A. as financial director, and then became Business Unit Manager for the company’s photographic division. He subsequently moved on to the roles of managing director, board chairman and then General Director of the Italian branch of Eastman Kodak Company. His experience covers key projects in merger and acquisition, the function of human resources director ad-interim, and various international activities, including the introduction of lean management as conceptualized by the Toyota Production System. Throughout his various roles in the company, he has always prioritized the human factor in business management, from employee management to wider aspects of the organization. His launched a program in diversity management for Kodak, which earned him an international award from the company.
He has collaborated as speaker and instructor on the themes of finance, organization and human resources for the ESFC-EAP Business School in Turin, Il Sole 24 Ore, Politecnico di Milano, Università Bicocca, Laboratorio Armonia Bocconi.

For 30 years, he has evaluated and stipulated agreements and contracts with public and private companies to provide job placement and recruitment training for persons belonging to the disabled category and the area of social unrest, via national and regional laws.
From 2000 to January 2009, he was manager of the Servizio per l’Occupazione dei Disabili (Service for the Employment of the Disabled) within the framework of Law No. 68/99 for targeted employment, and as part of the Economic and Social Development Program for the province of Milan. Since February 2009, as Director of the Agenzia provinciale del Lavoro di ANMIL, and consultant for the Agenzia per il Lavoro e-Work S.p.A, he has been strongly committed to promoting training and job placement opportunities for both individuals who are disabled as a result of work, and civilians who fall under the special lists of Law 68/99, which uses targeted paths aimed at participating companies.
